Design review (internal, noindex)

"Built for every trade" marquee variations

Six alternative layouts for the home-page strip, including options that fold in service businesses (web developers, digital marketing, SEO agencies, designers, consultants, event planners). Pick one or combine two.

Variation 1

Current: two rows, trades only

What's on the live home page today. Two auto-scrolling rows in opposite directions, 24 trades, no service businesses.

Variation 2

Three rows: trades + service businesses

Same pattern, one extra row for the service businesses the hero tagline promises. First two rows trades (opposite directions), third row services (slower, left).

Variation 3

Split section: trades + services, labelled

Two visually separate blocks with their own eyebrow label. Makes the service-business pitch explicit instead of hiding it inside a mixed strip.

Variation 4

Vertical columns, four lanes

Four columns scrolling vertically, alternating up/down. Dense, cinematic. Falls back to a single horizontal row on mobile where vertical columns don't fit.

Variation 5

Static grid, no animation

Zero motion. 4-col grid on desktop, 2-col on mobile. Faster render, friendlier to prefers-reduced-motion. Hover zoom on each tile. Shows a mix of trades + services at a glance.

Variation 6

Bento grid, 12 tiles

Twelve editorial tiles in a varied-size layout. Two 2x2 heroes anchor the composition, four single tiles slot in, two wides close the bottom. Reads as curated rather than catalog scroll.
